The "probably" is based on what (besides, of course, the talkative nature
that has been evidenced or the massive amounts of incriminating physical
evidence that someone so incompetent as to have cops show up at the door or
take seriously the writings of someone incompetent enough to get himself
incarcerated?

Sounds more like the writer was hoping others funble as badly as he did...
