Hi,
I would like to know what type of features in firewall to look for as
far
as prevention of vulnerabilities are concerned. Some firewalls claim
following preventions:
1. Ping Of Death
2. LAND attacks
3. TearDrop attacks
4. SYN-FLOOD attacks
5, Smurf attacks
6. TCP Sequence number attacks/hijacks
7. IP Spoofing
8. IP Source Route Option
9. ICMP REdirect messages
Do I need to look for anything else. What are other vulnerabilities a
firewall
can prevent other than above mentioned attacks?
