Hi,

Has anyone put there SOA DNS server on the DMZ of a PIX using NAT?

Our DNS server would have a private 192.168 address and be mapped through
NAT as a registered ip address. When DNS does a lookup of itself, it find
it's external address as its listed and gets confused because its on a
different subnet. We're also running SendMail 8.X on the same machine and
e-mail also gets confused.

Anyone run into this or have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Jay
