Network browsing through a VPN

I'm using the VPN version of Gauntlet 5.0 and PGP Desktop Security as the
Client, has anyone
been able to browse the network though a VPN connection, if so what needs to
be done for this to happen?

The connection is fine and I can communicate with every server but I can't
browse the network to see other NT servers, etc
any ideas??
