Hello all

I am new to firewalls.I am working on installing some firewall.

 Well we have RH5.0 and qpopper as our mail server. In netstat command in
foreign address I see different addressess. For example when I give
"netstat -a" I get the entries as follows.

<underline>Proto  Recv-Q Send-Q Local address          foreign Address
        state

</underline>

tcp     0       0    Our mail address:ftp   camb0030.capecod.net:3115
established

Well My worry is , whether the foreign address entry is unauthorisedly
using my server. How can I find out and how can I kill this connection.
When I ping to the following address it gives request timed out.

Can someone help me or give the URL where this is explained?

Thanks in advance
