Hi all,
I want to ask you if someone has already experienced the NAT
functions on a Windows 2000 Server (Beta3 RC1).
I want to setup up NAT with a multihomed NT server with a SINGLE
NIC : I have 2 logical networks; the first one is with private addresses
( let say 192.168.0.1 ) and the other one with a public adress (it is on
the same subnet as the router's interface conecting us to the Internet).
I created a static route for all unknown address (0.0.0.0 mask 0.0.0.0)
from my NTbox to the router.
From my server, all things seem right. When I configure a
workstation (Win 95) to use the NAT (local address=192.168.0.2 an d
default gateway = 192.168.0.1), a traceroute to an external address is
just blocked at 192.168.0.1 (!!).
What's wrong ?
TIA
RCE.
