Hi, I have been helping a friend with an interesting problem with Netscape when used as an ftp client. The FWZ-1 is configured on a machine with 3 NIC, one for the Private Net, the Internet accessible DMZ and of course the Internet. The rules are configured to permit ftp access from the internet (using NAT), while from the Private Net the rules also permit ftp access. While it is possible to access the ftp site via the command line ftp or Netscape externally, from the internal net Netscape can not connect but it is possible to use a command line FTP. While are NT clients can get prompted from the Username and Password, it does proceed from their (however a single Windows 95 PC can connect); a Unix workstation running Netscape will also not work but a command ftp session will. It is possible to establish a Netscape FTP session with a remote server on the Internet. Has anyone else experienced this problem, the Firewall logs indicate the connection as being permitted to DMZ ftp site but the connection fails. I am unsure if this a Netscape or Firewall problem or not. Any help would be most appreciated. Russell
