Ooops.  The question was: can two machines have the same IP address,
not: can one machine have two different IP addresses.

DOD gets a special flavor of NT.  You know: the one that is *guaranteed*
not to work.  Microsoft stands more firmly behind this guarantee than
any other they've ever made, implied or explicit.  I heard rumors of
this flavor and have been told that Microsoft's been spending a lot of
time targeting this product at government procurement.
