Need a quick hint from any unix/linux guru.
I just change the eeprom on my sparc station20 and need to install
Linux 6.o on this machine. How do I get this sparc station to load The
Linux OS from the cdrom?
I keep getting the following message: "Time out waiting for ARP/RARP
packet. Lost carrier(transceiver cable problem?). Cable problem or
twisted pair hub link-test disabled.
Use the PROM command "help Ethernet" for more information.
After the memory count, I cannot type anything at the keyboard .
Sparcstation 20 configuration as followed: 128Mb/Ram 2Gb HD. had
VMUNIX installed before eprom was removed.
ANY SUGGESTION WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
