Actually, I feel it is. The idea of a firewall is to implement you
perimeter security policy. That policy should seek to dictate what is
allow both inbound and outbound from your perimeter. Handing out
information to third party sites may not be part of your accepted
policy. Of course if the fix scores you some extra bandwidth, all the
better. ;)

As have many of us. What I find interesting is that many people let it
slide because it has a business spin to the whole thing. If the NSA or
some other government agency was doing the exact same thing, people
would be more than slightly irritated. ;)

Confirmed. For the sites I consult at its a consistent top 10. Scary how
many sites are hooked into DoubleClick.

Much appreciated! I've rolled this out for a few organizations and one
ISP without a problem as of yet. Would appreciate feedback if anyone
