Sigh. Two in one day. This email address has been removed from the list. Normally I just do it, and don't bother you all, but the off topic messages have been increasing in frequency, so a reminder: Off topic posts will result in your removal from the list. Blatant disregard can result in being permanently removed from the list. THis is the policy statement: 1) This list is for the purpose of discussing firewalls, and related security topics. 2) Code for cracking programs (programs designed to help break into another system) should not be posted to the Firewalls mailing list. 3) The postmaster team will be the final arbiter's of what is and is not on-topic. Posting off-topic messages is grounds for immediate removal from the list. 4) If removed from the list once on these grounds, you are welcome to rejoin, as long as you agree to follow the rules. If removed twice, we will bar you from rejoining. 5) You can subscribe a local redistribution list or a gateway to a local newsgroup, as long as whatever you do is local to your site. This restriction makes it much easier for the postmaster team to track down mailer problems. 6) If your email bounces, we will unsubscribe you. Same thing goes for vacation messages that actually respond to the list. You can rejoin latter and read the archives for the missing messages. 7) Discussions about list policy are off-topic on the list, and subject to removal from the list. Email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] if you have questions or comments about these policies. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Katie O'Neill Sent: Thursday, February 03, 2000 6:49 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Warning, This is a Recruiter, Posting a Job - [To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe firewalls" in the body of the message.]
