I'm trying to get my head around the documentation for Cisco PIX 4.4(1) to allow my internal users to use ping without allowing inbound ping requests. According to the docs the default is for inbound ping to be denied and outbound ping to be allowed, but this is not the case as ping cannot go through any interface on my PIX. I don't want to use conduit permit icmp any any to allow ping. Can anyone let me know what the syntax is to let my users use ping? I've tried a couple of options and still haven't managed to sort it out. Dan --- D.C.
