>From a casual reading of the RFC, it looks like NHRP should only be
used to find the first hop--the egress router--on a non-broadcast
multi-access network, and it should only be sent to the next hop
server for the NBMA network. We regularly see protocol 54 packets
sent to our web server, from networks that I *know* aren't NBMA, so I
think there has to be some serious misconfiguration or
misinterpretation of the RFC at work.
