pls forgive me if this question may be off topic ...
we are applying the SP5 patch for Checkpoint FW-1 ver 4 under Solaris
2.6 platform. unfortunately we didnt successfully applied the patch the
first time, and
worse, we have to reinstall FW-1 since it wont run anymore. and our
experience
told us that we have to reapply the patch 1 to patch4 just to apply the
latest patch.
question:
1. do I have to reapply all the previous patches of FW-1?
2. if one patch application fails, how can I backout from that patch?
i would appreciate suggestions and recommendations.
