Yes, finally some words of wisdom. :-)

Some people on this list, however, seem to be oblivious to the mjr's
law saying something along the line of "You can't solve social
problems with technical means."

Firewall is not meant to be a be-all end-all security solution,
period. What firewall must do is help you enforce your security
policy.

Now, you do have security policy in place, right?
