Currently the only way to allow Microsoft Media Player streaming to your local network through a firewall (without proxy) is to open UDP ports of 1027-5000 for incoming packets which ends up in big hole in the security. I want to view the protocol specifications so I could search for the port to be used in the negotiation sequence and open the specific port only. Does any one can help me with this?
