Greetings!

I am hoping someone on this list can help me with an issue I am having with
Firewall-1. I've searched the archives and have not been able to find the exact
answer to the question I have.

We are using Checkpoint Firewall-1, V. 4.1. Basically, I would like to manage three
firewalled gateways across the Internet, but the problem is that the management server
is actually located behind one of the firewalled gateways. What I need to do is dial
up to my Internet account from my Sun Ultra 5, get a static IP address and then use
the GUI to manage the firewalls.

After reading portions of the manual, I think I need to set up static NAT for the
management server so that I can reach it through the Internet. Next I have to add my
static IP address to the gui-clients file on the Mangement Server.

My question is what types of rules I have to put on the Firewalled Gateway to permit
me to access the Management Server using the front-end GUI. Also, I may need to
initially set this up remotely, via ssh, so any tips on punching this hole through the
firewalled gateway from the UNIX command line would be most appreciated.

Many thanks in advance,

Joel
