It is Solaris and mangement station is Solaris. HPOV
under neath and NetRanger extensions to that. HP had
OEM'd it for NT for management but that recently
stopped and Cisco recently announced a NT version for
management. The sensor is basically a rack-mounted
solaris box and as far as I know the OS isn't modified
besides only having necessary services/daemons
running.
