I had this problem just the other day. I was using FullCluster which isn't
going to be the exact same fix as if you got the error with regular
StoneBeat.

My problem was that I didn't have all of the keyfiles in the right
place. In the documentation there's a diagram which shows you which files
go where. After following that, there's another file which needs to be
copied to all of the firewall boxes - the name of it is slipping my mind
right now. Look through the ...\cert\eval directory for the name of
cert/keyfile that you haven't seen before. That's the file you're looking
for.

Now it could be that you've set up the keys wrong, which is possible. The
pointers I got from StoneBeat are:

1> Use your name for the real name field on the CA key, and the function
for the module keys (use "GUI" for a GUI client module key, etc.)

2> All passhrases and stonebeat passwords need to be the same. Yes that
may sound insecure, but it reduces the possibility of error due to how the
software was written.

Again, these tips are for FullCluster. If you're using straight StoneBeat,
then this isn't going to help you much. Fortunately you can get ahold of
whomever you need to for support (you bought a support contract,
right?) and they can walk you through an install.

Oh, and don't trust the documentation. If you use the documentation to do
an install of StoneBeat FullCluster, it will fail to work. StoneSoft is
working on rectifying that.
