Folks, this kinda stuff is an *Arms Race* plain and simple. blocking
services like napster, yahooIM, etc. is just a continual fight. It is
often a beter use of time and resources if you simply allow HR to deal
with social issues like this. If you want to make a martyr of someone,
toss up a packet sniffer, catch one or two people... make an example of
them.

Otherwise, creative minds will develop ways around any block you care to
put in place. Very creative minds will create a cool easy way for others
to do the same (Web Based Napster client; Web based "Everybuddy" client,
etc.)

Treat users as adults, expect them to comply, if they don't let their
manager and HR deal with them.
