Usually it is for the companies to take the export
license. I think if you know what product you want to
use, you can talk to the sales rep about the export
policy. DES encryption software is allowed for export
outside US. I think some companies like NEtwork
Associates have license for 3DES also. Recently, in
Dec 99 US govt significantly relaxed the regulations
making export easier. Hope that helps.
