Exchange client server communications occur on random ports.  There is a
technet article described a registry setting to force use of a particular
port.  Look there and your questions shall be answered.  I think a query for
'Exchange firewall port' should find the article for you.

I was trying to simulate the connection of exchange client to server thru a
firewall according the doc in checkpoint site

I have three ports open in the FW now 

135 11112 11111 out of which the last two are the ports i restricted in the
registry

>From my outlook client when i try to do a check name 
I am not getting any response and i am seeing some random ports
1046,2072,2082 etc getting dropped
