Is this you, [EMAIL PROTECTED], resending your message to the list? What,
are you not quite satisified with the answers you got from us? Oh, you
didn't get any? So you thought maybe we all need to be whacked on the
head with your question again? How many times will we see that same
message before you decide that we are just not going to answer?

Did you stop to think that maybe nobody answered because we are not your
Firewall-1 help desk? Why don't you telephone Checkpoint and ask them
about a procedural doc for upgrading their product? Likely because you
do not have a support contract with them huh? Yeah, who needs a support
contract when you can go to a list of people who will take time out of
their own projects to be your support desk.

This list is not a help desk. This list is for the discussion of
firewalling. That is the theory of it, not the HOWTO for umpteen given
products. I didn't really have a problem with you asking your question
once, but please do not keep resending it until you get the answers you
are looking for. If we don't answer it's because we care not to, not
that we did not get your message.

My applogies to the rest of the list for the rant, but I am just tired
of all of the off-topic and help desk type questions. Let's get down to
discussing firewalls, the concepts please. Leave the helpdesk questions
for helpdesks and product specific lists.

Thank-you.

b.
