Not that I am aware of.

If ALL you want is to view web pages, you can point the proxy settings
towards the proxy server, and it will work just fine without having the
client installed.

If you want to use anything other than port 80, it has been my experience
that you need the MS Proxy client installed properly to use the Proxy
Server.

That is not really NAT.

The latest release of the Wingate Proxy Server will support NAT.
