OpenBSD  :-)

Seriously, if the application is for a firewall, I think this is the best
choice.  Stripped down and clean, not a bunch of software you don't need
and as the website says: "Three years without a remote hole in the default
install!".  See http://www.openbsd.org

As for Linux, I tried a TurboLinux Server distro recently which had less of
the stuff you don't need.  As for the distro in general, I really didn't
pick it apart.  Anyone else have any impressions of this distro (TurboLinux
Server 6.0).
