Just wondering, since everyone here is so helpful with information, and
myself, being a newbie, am looking forward to the day when I can grin, and
point out simple things.

Anyway, I have a question I need to pass by the group.

I have been having this issue, specifically on one day of the week, where
the Firewall literally hangs. I know. First thing is check what time and
what runs at that time. I did that. Exact time every Monday morning at 4am.
I know. Check scheduled batch files. I did, there is a daily, run at that
time. If it were weekly, I would have my answer, but since it's daily and
the issue of the hanging Firewall happens weekly, I scratched my head and
grunted. Verifying further other things are occuring as well. While not
solely repsonsible, I believe that the combination of these elements is
causing this issue.

I notice that there is a prevalent amount of SNMP drops from a Network
Monitoring server source to the destionation of a router that traffics
through to the internet. I just noticed today that these SNMP UDP broadcasts
happen ONLY on the Monday when the Firewall has it's issue. Any other day,
it is not run. This seems conclusive to me, but I have to wonder why UDP
traffic, at 8432 drops in a span of 24 hours, would cause this, when at
times, I have seen worse. I am sure it is not helping, but for that to be
the sole cause seems odd to me.

Thanks all.
