I'm installing a new program on my webserver that requieres an internet connection for licens check purposes. So my question is, how do i open for a port 80 connection from my webserver on the green net to the red net ? It seemed pretty obvious at first. This is what i did: Opened "Packet filtering service" Modify "Web service port 80" "Modify policy ..." "Custom policy" Changed "accept only" to "allow" In direction "from green to red" (any host at the moment, I will specify some exact addresses later. Dont you worry !) But alas. I doesnt work. If anybody has a clue to why this is so, please drop me a note. The system is running Firewall98 sp3 on WinNT4 Also if anybody knows of a forum for users of the Altavista Firewall. Or perhaps where to find the Altavista Firewall support pages previously found at Digital's site. Could they please drop me a note.
