When I run nmap on my RH linux 6.2 kernel 2.2.16 firewall with ipchains
from outside I get an entry omserv which I cannot see on my other linux
boxes and I didn't intend to be there.
764/tcp open omserv
also netstat shows a listener
tcp 0 0 *:764 *:* LISTEN
There is no associated process running and when I telnet to this port
the service connects but the service never responds.
Can anyone say what this is or what it does, how it is run and how to
disable it if nessassary. Why is this port even open?
