Below is what your DNS entries look like from an external viewer notice that
your secondary (DNS2.simbanet.net) does not have the MX entry. Have you
ensured
that your secondary is getting updates from your primary? There is also a
problem with inverse lookups. Some mail servers do not accept email that
comes
from an IP number that has no reverse entry. You need to get Kersur
Technologies
to add an IN-ADDR.ARPA entry to the 131.129.216.IN-ADDR.ARPA zone.

Here is a reverse lookup attempt (remember servers only see the IP not the
domain name so this is what they see of you)

09/25/00 19:42:23 DNS 216.129.131.42
nslookup 216.129.131.42
No reverse DNS (WSANO_DATA)

Here is the DNS table:

The problem is that your DNS is not correctly set up.
You have the name sumariagroup.com set up both as a domain and a host which
is contrary to the DNS RFC. This is used a lot but it can cause problems
with systems checking validity of from: addresses in email messages. What
you can do is set up an MX entry in your DNS for sumariagroup.com pointing
to you email server.

Hi Guys,

I am having a strange problem, would love to have feedbacks form all you
people

I am behinf a Somnicwall PRO Firewall and using MSExchnage as my email
server with smtp(25,6) and pop3(110,6) port open for exchange of
emails, wherein something strange is happening as I am able to send/receive
emails from certain sites like hotmail and yahoo to my MSExchange server but
not through netaddress, rediff etc to name a few., what according to you
could be the reason for the same, what I doubt is that the prot settings are
a limitation, is there any chance that netaddres and other sites are using a
different port for smtp and pop3 which is causing a mismatch
I get the following error
