Martin,

Theres a link off http://www.robertgraham.com/pubs/firewall-seen.html which
goes to http://www.isi.edu/in-notes/iana/assignments/port-numbers

This lists all well known, registered and private ports. Port 1221 is listed
as "SweetWARE Apps". Not too sure what SweetWARE apps are but I'd guess some
way of sharing Warez maybe?

http://www2.raidway.ne.jp/~sit-k/network/port/ also seems to have a pretty
detailled list of ports

Hope this helps,

T.

Oh, and I DID send this BEFORE I got my new batch of mail and saw the
link to http://www.robertgraham.com/pubs/firewall-seen.html, but that
doesn't refer to all the ports I'm seeing attempted traffic on, either.
Naturally, figuring out what ALL the wacko ports things will try to use
are is a herculean task, but if there are any other sources, please let
me know.
