To allow the IIS server in the DMZ to communicate with the exchange server
behind the firewall requires that ports 137-139 be opened up. What I did was
setup a reverse proxy in the DMZ to access the IIS server that is in an
isolated network and communicates with the Exchange server in the main
network through a router (or could be switch ACL's). This was the best way I
found to secure it.

Subject: Outlook Web Access through Firewall
Hi,
Is anybody there with experience in Outlook Web Access through a Firewall.
The idea is to have the Exchange at the Internal network and the IIS at the
DMZ.
Anyone with experience on this?
Thanks
Jaime.
