Occurs to me that CHO is just another cheap tactic used by some
organizations for publicity; mainly because "hacker" has become a buzzword
to John Q. Public.
The assumption seems to be that "hackers" can perform some voodoo rites and
break into any system; engineers cannot. It never ceases to amaze me what a
little(?) lack of understanding, along with those who exploit it, can do.

Subject: Eeye hacked.
With NAI & McAfee hacked, and now Eeye getting hacked today, I wonder if
maybe hackers have come up with a point system for hacking web sites. 10
points for small unknown website. 50 points for brandname website hacked.
100 points for security company website being hacked.
Eeye's web site is down, but the original hacked web page makes for
interesting reading.

Maybe Eeye should hire a Chief Security Officer who knows how to lock down
their website security, rather than a Chief Hacking Officer. Do you think
most companies buying security software would be apprehensive and suspicious
of a security company with a self-proclaimed gray hat hacker with an
executive title of Chief Hacking Officer? Or is this a new trend? Any
other companies with CHO's?
Would kind of qualifications do you need to be a CHO?
