This is not Firewall security strictly speaking but you might be
able to help me.
I've got a RAS server with ACE/Agent (SecurID) authentification
enabled. The users that login into the system also are authentificated
(and checked for callback parameters too) agains a PDC which is not the
same machine as the RAS server.
My question is (and please don't flame me, NT security is not my
best), is there anyway to configure the RAS server so it can still
authentificate the users against the PDCs without allowing
authentification requests to the RAS server coming from the Domain admins?
I'm pretty sure there is, but the NT guys here say that this is
not possible.
Also, we have utilities like "Compaq Insight Manager" running on
the RAS server. I take it that if you can configure the RAS server as per
the previous question, all these kind of utilites will stop working. Am I
correct?
