You want tot set the port to "monitor". it will only be able to "monitor"
per VLAN.

Subject: Forwarding all traffic to a port on a Catalyst Switch...
This may be a little off-topic, but I was wondering if anyone can give
me some insight on how to configure a Catalyst 2900xl to forward any
traffic passed through it to a specific port. I'm installing a network
monitor that sniffs the network for any illegal packets, and everyone
knows how well that works on a switched network.
Last I heard, there is a waty to do this, but I can't for the lift of me
figure it out.
Thanks for any input.
