I hope this works.
We have a Raptor FW 4.1 EC running on True unix 4.0d on a Alpha server 1000. The Fw is
using CVP scanning, only for SMTP.
The cvp scanner is a Intel Windows NT 4.0 sp5 with navfw 1.5 (also tested 1.04)
What happens is that large e-mails, larger than 20 MB, get stuck somewhere.
I sniffed the traffic between the mailhost (tcpware 5.3-2 on openvms 7.2-1), and saw
that nothing
went wrong.
When I disable cvp scanning mode the same e-mail passes.
What I see is that the e-mail is transported through the fw to the cvp scanner, and in
the work dir
of navfw a temp file emerges (yep it's the e-mail with the attachment).
After a while the mailserver gets the mail back stating that host was unreachable.
Does someone reconnice this.
