I am imaging a small organization forming some teaching material asking
some independent agencies to sponsor an electronic newsletter, a nifty
poster, a stand-in box with their name on it, etc to sponsor
state/regional/local license center in order to license those who work or
want in designated sectors/positions to get certified.
One goes to the local licensing center: attends a few rigorous classes,
takes a test there or via online, then if one passes they receive a license
they can get a job with a monitoring company and Voila, they or other
licensed security monitor is calling you or your organization at 3am,
telling you someone was attempting to probe you vicariously.
Yes, not likely to happen..
