Subject: Port 6970
Hi,
Does anyone know what uses port 6970? I looked into the port list and I
don't see any description for port 6970. Is it used for streaming video or
some multimedia thing. According to the pix error log, there are no action
for this error, but does anyone know how to turn this error off besides
filtering it out.
Below is a couple of the many logs I get on my PIX firewall.
%PIX-2-106006: Deny inbound UDP from 66.7.148.26 (radio5.westwindmedia.com)
/8708 to 12.25.196.214 (WDA2272) /6970 on interface outside
%PIX-2-106006: Deny inbound UDP from 216.148.237.127
(a216-148-237-127.deploy.akamaitechnologies.com) /25812 to 12.25.196.175
(WDA2273) /6970 on interface outside
Thanks.
Diana
