Newbie Q: FW-1 vs PIX

I was wondering if anyone has knowledge about Checkpoint's Firewall-1 vs
Cisco's PIX firewall products.  I'm not quite as concerned with interface
features and ease of use as I am with the security features and/or
vulnerabilities each of these might have - especially in contrast to one
another.  Can anyone help?
