I guess "the same way" means configuring by use of rempass. That
approach gave me the message "incompatible version", when trying to
connect. Both fw's were installed from the same cd. There must be more
into it than just rempass. Setting up routes shouldn't be necessary
since both host and client are connected to the fw.
What have I missed?

Ove

Yes it is, I do it all the time (and if you have ever worked with Raptor
support
they have you set your FW up so that they can remotely admin and check
things
out). You just set it up the same way you would with the internal one.

Subject: [rapt] Remote Admin

Sirs

I'm running ver. 6.5 and remote administration from the internal
interface, all fine. Now I'm about to introduce a new v. 6.5 on my
internal interface to protect an internal subnet. Unfortunately my
managment console happens to be on the external interface on this new
one. Is it at all possible to administer this firewall remote from the
external interface?

Many thanks for a valuable source
