lost cisco password

Good Afternoon,
Does anyone know how to reset the password on a cisco 2600 series router
once the password is lost?
The previous administrator claims (ha) to not remember the password, our
telecom provider is installing our new frame circuit on monday of next week
and I need to install a WAN card, I am stuck...any help appreciated.
