Subject: PIX Upgrade and failover question.

Hello,
We currently have a single PIX 520 running 4.2(3), and I was given the
project to add a failover PIX for redundancy. I found the PIX 520 Failover
Bundle (PIX-520-FO-BUN), and I had a question about what I should do with
our current software version on our PIX. 4.2(3) is very stable for us, but
since the failover requires the 2 boxes to be running the same version, I
was going to upgrade our current PIX to 5.3.1, and this is where I'm getting
a bit confused. Cisco says that releases higher than 5.2.1 require a 16MB
Flash card in the PIX, and to use the 'show version' to determine the amount
of flash mem in the box. Doing a 'show version' on our box only shows the
amount of RAM, and not Flash. How can I determine the amount of Flash in
our current 520?

Thanks,
Scott Grantham
