Hi all, Being new to this list, I would like to ask for some advice with regards to training within the security field. I am currently CCNA and MCSE certified, and have experience with many programming languages across a fair few OS's. In the late 80's and early 90's, I stepped to the black side on the Amiga and C64 scenes whilst also coding for a few games companies, but would like to move to the white-grey side and study heacy into security within networks and cryptography. Can anyone offer advice of where to start, preferably without a huge expense of courses. I wounder to the weight of the GIAC certifications? Please help...
