I not familiar with that config, but all heat problem I have had with Sun
boxes always have to do with air flow.
Example, I had a cage at exodus that overall had no temp problems. A couple
of 420's were having problems with heat and going down. It turned out the
4500's next to the 420's were causing the failures, because the airflow
between them wasn't up to par.
Not much help.....

It's not secure "Because they told me it was secure".
The people at the other end of the link know less
about security than you do. And that's scary.

Subject: Temperature warning
Has any one ever experienced critical temperature warnings on E250s when
used with an ALG firewall integrated with Solaris 2.6. These warnings seem
to be related to the Power Distribution Board (PDB) and causes the system to
crash with in 24-48 hours. The temperature goes up to 72 celcius. Ran SUN's
diagnostic utility which reported every thing working fine. Installed
Solaris 7 with out firewall, worked fine for 7 days. Any input or pointers
will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your time and efforts.
Cheers
Janbaz
