Hi,
I'm having a lot of fun just trying to install policies onto a
checkpoint firewall... Apparently the firewall node rejects the policy
file... I verified the configuration of the firewall node against my othe
node and except for the management interface and the hostname there's not
much difference... The firewal cluster is built with StoneBeat which seems
to be working fine...
I'll be grateful for some suggestions on how I could resolve this
issue....
Here is the error
>>>>>>>>>>>>..
fwnode2 # fw fetch 192.168.2.1
Trying to fetch Security Policy from 192.168.2.1:
Installing Security Policy WideOpen on all.all@fwnode2
Has only loopback (lo) interface, aborting...
Failed to Load Security Policy: No such file or directory
Fetching Security Policy from 192.168.2.1 failed
fwnode2 #
(using Checkpoint 4.1 on Solaris7 fully patched)
-The node 1 is almost configured the same except for the management network
interface and isntalls the policies without problems.
-The fw putkey works and it apparently download the policy files onto the
firewall. But don't seems to like what's inside and removes it.
-In the policy the network object corresponding to the firewall node is set
with all its interfaces.
-The problem is both way I can't fetch from it nor push to it from the
management console.
-The 3 systems are on the same network 192.168.2.0/24
Thank you,
gab
