Check out Sygate's enterprise version. It has central control, logging and
other corporate oriented features. It also has the user control when not
connected feature.

Best of all, it incorporates the three features I want in a personal
firewall, Application blocking 
Firewalling  (blocking by port), and
Intrusion detection.
