Sugestion needed

Hello everyone,

I need a suggestion for this problem :

Data :

- there are two networks

- a bunch of switches in a tree-like structure

- one router for Internet acces

Request :

- I want to install a machine with linux as a firewall between router and LAN.

Suggestion needed for configuring static routes. Also feel free to "hit me" with your comments about this structure and problem's data.
