I'll be using PIX in near future and a bit confuse on minimum management software required to manage it. Previously we ordered the following:
1. SEC-POL-MGR-2.3-UR (CSPM 2.3 UnRestricted License) 2. CON-SAS-SECMGRR (SAS SVC., Cisco Secure Policy Manager v2.x Lite) 3. CON-SAS-SECMGRUR (SAS SVC., Cisco Secure Policy Manager v2.x app.) 4. CSNT-2.6 (Cisco Secure ACS 2.6 for Windows 2000 & NT) 5. CON-SAS-CSNT (SAS Service, CiscoSecure Windows NT) but the vendors said that the are some changes and some will not be available. I learned that Cisco has a bundled version for those software (VPM 2.0) and I think some of its components already exist on CiscoWorks2000 (e.g., Resource Manager Essentials (RME), CiscoView and Inventory Services) and we do not need the IDS Host Sensor. Does anybody know the minimum management software required to manage PIX firewall?
