Actually, SGI is the king in the graphics/unix arena. Most them old sparcs and other smaller suns make better desktop systems these days, and can play at a commandline level, though, there is still a relaince in most folks minds for point and click simplicity, such as the windows realm pushes as a must <so there must be a need for graphics capabilities and simplicty in those depts of yers?>. Yet, folks should note the great strides the linux realm haspushed into the mainstream unix vendor realm as most all the big players now include linux functionality into their products.
