I have a question to the list regarding ipf, i am currently using OBSD as my home Firewall, but as i read the examples and the man i still don't understand how does ipf reacts to a synflood, i have already read something about that regarding iptables, a limit that prevents the openning of new sessions creating half-open connections or as in the PIX Firewall where i can control an embryonic limmit, in this case a little more complete as when this limit is reached the PIX start's doing the 3-way handshake with the client and only connections from "friendly" users may pass.
So the questions is there any way of making ipf react to an syn-flood attack ?
