Hi all,
I'm running a Red Hat linux 7.2 with kernel 2.4.9-13 and
initscripts-6.43-1.
When I issue the "netstat -i" command I see the following output:

In the column "Flag" I have the flag "M" which means "promicuous mode" as I
read in some documentations.

Why is my interfaces starting up in promiscuous mode. Which are the
implications? How can I stop it?

Thank you,
